American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with 2+ years of MRI experience and ARRT(MR) or AMRIT certification for an outpatient sports medicine and orthopedic setting.

Details

• Outpatient coverage across MaineHealth Medical Group and MMCP locations, splitting time between Ortho and a second campus location
• Facility uses 1.5T and 3T Philips Ingenia MRI scanners
• Technologist will work alongside one tech aide or a second technologist, never alone
• Day shift schedule from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM
• No call requirements
• No floating required beyond a 25-mile float policy between facilities as needed
• Uses Epic EMR

Requirements

• ARRT(MR) or AMRIT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Minimum 2 years of MRI experience required
• Philips MR scanner experience required
• Experience with Level 1 trauma, anesthesia, and ICU patients strongly recommended
• Experience with Neuro imaging (spine, brain, brain perfusion), Body imaging (abdomen, MRCP, kidney, pelvis), and all MSK imaging
• No experience required in Breast, Cardiac, or Prostate imaging
• Driver's License required for consideration
• 2 professional references required

• Support a mix of inpatient and outpatient MRI cases across multiple sites
• Strong focus on quality, patient-centered care
• Team-oriented environment requiring good communication, reliability, and flexibility
• Must be a self-initiator capable of running protocols as written
• Scrubs of any color accepted except hospital-issued scrubs
• First-time travelers may be considered
• Local candidates within 90 miles of any MaineHealth facility are welcome but not eligible for renewals or extensions
• Candidates who have worked at any MaineHealth facility within the past 12 months should disclose this upon consideration
• RTO should be kept to a minimum, with 3-4 days considered reasonable for a 13-week contract
