American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist to perform screening and diagnostic mammography, breast ultrasound, and stereotactic/US biopsies at a breast health center.

Details

• Full-time schedule, Monday through Friday, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 80 hours biweekly
• Possibility of some Saturday half-day shifts to serve the community
• Primary assignment location with rotation to other Women's Imaging Centers as needed
• Duties include screening and diagnostic mammography, DEXA bone density scans, breast ultrasound, and stereotactic/US biopsies
• Meditech charting system used; experience preferred but not required
• May be required to float within the hospital in accordance with facility floating policies

Requirements

• Valid state license required if applicable
• AHA certification required
• Willingness to rotate Saturdays if needed
• Willingness to rotate to other Women's Imaging Centers
• Comfortable with floating within the facility due to high patient-to-caregiver ratios

Additional Information

• Expect to work some holidays and weekends in rotation with staff
• Floating assignments comply with Joint Commission standards, including appropriate orientation to new units
• Minimal to no RTO permitted; any requested time off must be approved prior to assignment start and ideally discussed during the interview
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be eligible
• Local candidates within the radius are not accepted
• Previous employees must have been gone at least 1 year and in good standing at time of departure to be considered
