American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for a Level 1 trauma acute care setting, requiring 2+ years of vascular/endovascular experience and GE equipment proficiency.

Details

• Work in the Vascular Surgery/IR department of a Level 1 trauma acute care facility
• Single procedure suite averaging 3 cases per day
• Common cases include endovascular (IR) and vascular procedures
• Uses EPIC EMR
• 4x9-hour day shifts, with alternative schedules discussed during interview
• Weeknight call required 1-2 nights per week with a 30-minute response time
• Weekend call required Sat 7am to Mon 7am, rotating every 3rd weekend
• Holiday call rotation required
• May float within like units and assist with Surgical Tech duties

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Vascular/Endovascular procedures
• IR experience preferred but not required
• Must have experience with GE equipment
• ARRT certification required (RCIS not accepted)
• BLS certification required (AHA)
• Scrubbing required, including scrub, gown, and setup/takedown of the procedure room
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Facility has a Charge Nurse and/or House Supervisor on every shift
• Unit-specific orientation includes one week of scrubbing alongside a hospital surgical tech
• Hospital-provided scrubs
• Local candidates accepted with no radius restriction on eligibility
• Facility does not require COVID vaccination
