Description

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Scrub Tech/CST for a hospital surgical services unit requiring 2+ years of CVOR experience and cardiac case experience.

Details

• Hospital-based CVOR unit within Surgical Services caring for adult cardiac surgery patients
• 1:1 patient ratios with 1-2 beds in the unit
• Uses specialized cardiac equipment including IABP, ECMO, and Atricure Cryoablation Machine
• 4x10's day shift schedule from 6:30am to 5:00pm with rotating days off
• On-call requirement of 6-13 shifts within a 4-week period, which may include weekends and holidays
• Floats to Main OR for vascular and thoracic cases when no cardiac cases are scheduled

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CVOR Scrub Tech experience required
• Cardiac experience in first and second scrub assisting preferred
• BLS certification from AHA required
• NBSTSA certification required
• State license required if applicable
• No certifications expiring within first 30 days of start

Additional Information

• Assist with cardiac surgical cases including advanced procedures using specialized cardiac equipment
• Ceil blue scrub color required per facility dress code policy
• 65-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
