American Traveler is hiring a Pediatric Cath Lab Radiology/Cardiology Technologist with at least 1 year of experience in a Level I Trauma pediatric cath lab setting.

Details

• Pediatric Cath Lab within a Level I Trauma Center, teaching hospital, and Magnet-designated facility with 865 staffed beds
• 2 cath lab rooms
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, 7:00 AM to 3:30 PM
• On-call requirement of 8-10 call shifts per month including weekend coverage
• Case types include pediatric/adult transplant right/left heart biopsy, balloon angioplasty, stent placement, valve placement, and may include interventional radiology cases
• EPIC EMR preferred

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of experience required
• BLS, ACLS, and PALS certification required (American Heart Association only accepted)
• CCI certification with RCIS/RCES preferred, or ARRT (R) with SCRQSA (R) also acceptable
• License required if applicable
• Experience with cardiac cath lab procedures, cardiac stent placement, diagnostic catheterizations (adult and pediatric/neonatal), and percutaneous coronary interventions (PCI)
• Pediatric diagnostic catheterization experience preferred
• Radiation badge required, to be provided by the agency

Additional Information

• Level I Trauma pediatric cath lab experience preferred, along with EP experience
• First-time travelers may be considered depending on final approval
• Previous MUSC perm or PRN staff must be separated from the system for 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Local candidates within 60 miles may be considered on a case-by-case basis
• All requested time off must be submitted in advance and is subject to facility approval
• Facility may reduce scheduled hours by up to 1 shift per 2-week period
• Employees and contractors may be assigned to emergency response duties during hurricane season, which runs June through November with peak activity in August and September
• One-time $20 parking fee applies for nights and weekends
