American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist requiring ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification and prior travel experience for a 13-week Radiology assignment.

Details

• Radiology department serving inpatient, outpatient, and ED patient populations
• 1:1 patient ratio
• CT procedures include Head/Neck, Chest, Abdomen, Pelvis, Spine, Extremities, CTAs, Drainage, Biopsies, and Brain Perfusions
• Uses Cerner EMR, Philips Enterprise PACS, GE CT Optima 660 64 Slice scanner, and contrast power injection system
• 10-hour mid shifts on a 7on/7off schedule from Thursday through Wednesday
• Shift times include 1:30pm-2:00am and 3:30pm-2:00am depending on the day
• Two CT Techs staffed during the 3:30pm-2am shift
• No floating required
• No on-call requirements
• Every other weekend rotation as part of the 7on/7off schedule
• Orientation consists of 1-2 shifts

Requirements

• ARRT (CT) or NMTCB (CT) certification required, if applicable per state licensure
• BLS certification required
• Minimum of more than 1 year of CT experience required
• Must be an experienced traveler, first-time travelers will be considered

Additional Information

• Perform a wide range of CT procedures across multiple anatomical areas including drainage and biopsy procedures
• Expected to work one major and one minor seasonal holiday per policy, though specific dates off are not guaranteed
• Facility maintains seasonal blackout dates for time off requests around major holidays throughout the year
• Time off requests over 7 days require email approval rather than automatic approval
• Scrubs of any color are permitted
• Free parking is available
• Candidates must reside outside a 60-mile radius of the facility, as local candidates are not accepted
• Former perm staff must wait 6 months before being considered for a travel assignment
