Description

American Traveler is seeking an Interventional Radiology Technologist with ARRT R.T.(R) certification and prior Vascular Surgery scrub experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Work within a clinic and operating room setting supporting Interventional Radiology procedures
• Serve adolescent and adult patient populations
• 4x10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week, with start times of 7:30 AM or 8:30 AM depending on call rotation
• Flexibility to work holidays as needed
• On-call required from 7 PM to 7 AM, including one weekday shift per week and one weekend shift per month
• On-site position with no teleworking options
• EPIC EMR used for charting

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program or registry eligible with certification obtained prior to start date
• Current ARRT Registered Technologist R.T.(R) certification required
• ARRT Vascular Interventional Radiology (VI) certification required within 18 months of start date; strongly preferred at time of hire
• Current BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Minimum of 1 year of experience in the Interventional Radiology specialty required
• Associate's degree preferred
• Experience in Body, Neuro, and Vascular Surgery required
• Previous scrub case experience required
• Experience within a sterile environment and aseptic technique preferred
• License required if applicable

• Produce high-quality diagnostic images meeting departmental standards for Radiology and assigned Operating Room areas
• Practice safety guidelines to protect patients, staff, and self
• Foster teamwork through effective communication with the care team
• Maintain flexibility to staff multiple work locations, shift times, and shift lengths
• Respond to on-call pager duties which may include days, evenings, nights, holidays, and weekends
• Current COVID-19 vaccination and booster required
