American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist First Assist with at least 18 months of recent CVOR experience and strong endovascular skills for a hospital operating room position.

Details

• Hospital-based Operating Room unit specializing in cardiovascular procedures
• Cardiac and vascular surgical caseload including complex level 3 and 4 procedures
• AM shift schedule with 10-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months full-time CVOR experience of similar acuity within the last 3 years
• Must be a Certified CVOR First Assist
• Proficiency with level 3 and 4 cardiac and vascular procedures required
• Strong endovascular experience required
• License required if applicable
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Serve as First Assist supporting cardiovascular and vascular surgical procedures
• Assist with cannulation, aorta cases, and endovascular procedures using wires
• Experience with both adult and congenital cardiac cases is relevant to this role
• Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered
• Former Emory or Houston perm staff must be separated for 1 year before returning to the health system, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• RTO requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not falling on or near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted per assignment
