American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT MR certification and 2+ years of experience for a hospital-based radiology position requiring EPIC EMR experience.

Details

• MicroPosition covers Adult Acute Care, Adult ICU, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma settings
• 13-week assignment
• Shift schedule is Friday, Saturday, and Sunday, 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM (3x12 hours)
• Call requirement is part of this assignment
• May float to other units or campuses within the health system based on census needs and demonstrated competencies
• Uses Siemens MRI equipment

Requirements

• , as an MRI Technologist required
• Current ARRT MR and BLS certification required (license required if applicable)
• 1 year of recent EPIC EMR experience required
• Community hospital experience preferred
• Skills include abdominal and pelvic imaging, MRA/MRV studies, head and neck imaging, spine imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, and cardiovascular MR
• Proficiency in contrast media preparation/administration, radiation safety, peripheral IV starts, and isolation precautions/PPE required
• Experience with special imaging procedures such as MIP, MPR, perfusion, and surface coils preferred
• Previous travel assignment experience required

Additional Information

• Perform MRI imaging across abdominal, pelvic, head/neck, spine, musculoskeletal, and cardiovascular studies
• Responsible for contrast media administration, radiation safety protocols, and peripheral IV starts as needed
• Orientation is held every Monday and includes annual compliance training
• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from all facilities within the health system to be eligible for the travel rate, with reduced rate options for 90-99.9 miles
