American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Cath Lab Technologist with 2+ years of specialty experience for a 13-week assignment at a Level 2 trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in the Heart Cath Lab unit of a hospital setting
• 1:1 nurse-to-patient ratio
• 10-hour day shifts, 7:00 AM to 5:00 PM
• 40 hours per week over a 13-week assignment
• Floating is not required
• On-call requirements include 1 night weekly and 1 weekend every 4th weekend for weekend and holiday coverage
• Techs are required to scrub, circulate, and monitor
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Cardiac Cath Lab specialty experience required
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT certification with FL license required, or RCIS, or RCES (license required if applicable)
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience in a trauma level, teaching facility setting preferred

• Facility is a Level 2 trauma center and teaching hospital
• Designated Comprehensive Stroke Center and Chest Pain Center
• Orientation held every Monday
• Local candidates accepted, except those with a permanent address in Tallahassee
• First-time travelers will be considered
