American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with ARRT certification and 1+ year of experience for a hospital setting using Varian True Beam equipment.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiation Therapy department
• Orientation scheduled every Monday
• Uses Varian True Beam equipment
• Uses Epic for electronic medical records

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year current Radiation Therapy experience required
• Active ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• Active Iowa state license required if applicable
• Experience with Varian True Beam preferred, training available if needed
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Must reside at least 50 miles from the facility

Additional Information

• Deliver radiation therapy treatments in a hospital setting
• Holiday coverage required, including 2 of 3 major winter holidays (Christmas, New Year's, or Thanksgiving)
• Limited time-off requests permitted during the Thanksgiving and winter holiday periods
• One supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within the past 2 years required for consideration
• Prior employment with the facility within the past 12 months may affect eligibility
• Open to candidates with previous travel experience
