American Traveler is hiring an Electrophysiology Technologist for a Level I Trauma teaching hospital cardiac cath lab, requiring 12+ months of EP experience and stim experience.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab/EP department in a Level I Trauma teaching hospital
• 4x10 hour day shifts, Monday-Friday, starting at 7:00 AM, with a rotating day off
• 40 hours per week schedule
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Uses Epic EMR
• Required to float across all Des Moines campuses to like units

Requirements

• ARRT certification required
• RCIS or RCES accepted
• Minimum of 12 months Electrophysiology (EP) experience required; 24 months preferred
• Stim experience required
• Cardiac Cath Lab experience preferred
• Travel experience highly preferred
• 24 months of current EP or Cardiac Cath/CCL experience required on work history/resume
• Skills checklist specific to Electrophysiology or Cardiac Cath/CCL required
• Supervisory performance evaluation or reference from within 24 months required
• Driver's license required for consideration
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform electrophysiology procedures including stim studies within the cardiac cath lab
• Located in a nationally recognized cardiac and vascular care program at a Level I Trauma Center
• Required to work 1-2 of 3 summer holidays (Memorial Day, Independence Day, Labor Day) unless the unit is closed
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility
• Past UnityPoint Health employees (FTE or PRN float pool) are restricted from working travel assignments in other markets within 12 months of separation
