American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with ARRT (R) certification and 2+ years of MRI experience including abdomen and pelvis imaging.

Details

• 13-week assignment in a hospital MRI department
• 4x12 hour day shifts from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM
• One Saturday shift required per month
• Charting completed in Epic
• Candidate expected to float as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in MRI specialty required
• Current BLS and ARRT (R) certification required
• State license required if applicable
• Experience with abdomen and pelvis imaging required
• Epic charting experience required
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

Additional Information

• Adult acute care, ICU, outpatient, and ER/trauma work settings
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• Perform MRI procedures including abdominal MRA/MRV, MRCP, pelvis imaging, head/neck imaging, spine imaging, musculoskeletal imaging, and cardiovascular MRI studies
• Utilizes GE, Philips, and Toshiba MRI equipment along with PACS system
• Responsible for preparation and administration of contrast media, radiation safety practices, and starting peripheral IVs
• Candidates local within 50 miles may be considered at a local rate
• First-time travelers not considered for this role
