American Traveler is hiring a Travel Endoscopy Tech with 2+ years of hospital experience and CFER certification for a 13-week assignment in a hospital's endoscopy department.

• Unit includes 9 pre/post beds and 4 procedure rooms
• Patient ratio is 1:1 during procedures and 1-3 in pre/post care
• Team consists of 3 full-time Endo Techs with no unit secretary
• Uses Olympus, Steris, Conmed, ERBE, and Boston Scientific equipment
• Charting is done using Expanse Provation documentation system
• Procedures performed include EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, BARRX ablation, bronchoscopy, Bravo placement, HET, TIF, EBUS, and EUS
• Schedule is Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM to 5:30 PM, 8 hours per day
• Call coverage required weeknights from 5:30 PM to 7:00 AM and 24-hour coverage on weekends
• May float to main OR or Sterile Processing Department during periods of light volume
• 13-week assignment length

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in a hospital endoscopy setting required
• BLS certification required
• Certified Flexible Endoscope Reprocessor (CFER) certification required
• License required if applicable
• Familiarity with Olympus endoscopes, medivators, and leak testing required
• Knowledge of colon, EGD, ERCP, bronchoscope, and EUS procedures required
• Endoscope reprocessing knowledge and skills required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Work as part of a highly collaborative team supported by providers who value techs as key members of the care team
• Assist with endoscope reprocessing and equipment setup for procedures
• Hospital scrubs provided
• Closed-toe shoes required as part of dress code
• 50-mile radius rule applies; local candidates will not be considered
