Description

American Traveler seeks a Radiation Therapist with NY license in hand and 1+ year of radiation experience for a hospital oncology department using Varian TrueBeam and Aria software.

Details

• Work in a hospital Oncology department
• 8-hour day shifts (8:00am-4:30pm)
• 5 shifts per week, 40 hours weekly
• 13-week contract assignment
• Uses Varian TrueBeam and IX equipment
• Uses Aria software for treatment planning and records
• No on-call requirements

Requirements

• Active NY Radiation Therapist license required in hand (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification
• Minimum of 1 year of radiation therapy experience
• Graduation from an AMA-approved school of Radiologic Technology
• Registered with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT)
• Specific experience and training in Radiology preferred
• Strong knowledge of general anatomy, physiology, and medical terminology
