American Traveler is hiring a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist with RVT certification to perform peripheral vascular studies in a specialty clinic setting.

Details

• Work in a hospital-affiliated specialty clinic performing vascular ultrasound studies
• Primarily serves patients with peripheral vascular disease
• 5x8 hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM
• No weekend or on-call requirements
• Utilizes GE, Philips, Siemens, and SonoSite ultrasound equipment along with PACS

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a Vascular Ultrasound Technologist
• RVT certification is required
• One RDMS registry (Abdomen or OB/GYN) is sufficient in addition to RVT
• Current BLS certification required
• No state licensure required for this role, though license required if applicable
• Proficiency in vascular studies including aorta, arterial graft studies, arterial mapping, carotid, color flow, dialysis grafts, doppler studies, duplex, lower extremity arterial and venous studies, and stents
• Experience with GE, Philips, Siemens, or SonoSite ultrasound equipment
• Community hospital experience preferred

Additional Information

• Perform peripheral vascular ultrasound studies including carotid, arterial, and venous duplex exams
• Scrubs must be blue or royal blue
• Orientations are held bi-weekly
