Description

American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist requiring ARRT MR certification and 2 years of MRI experience (or 1 year plus 3 total travel assignments) to work in a Neuro MRI setting.

Details

• Work in the MRI Neuro unit performing Neuro, Abdominal, and Musculoskeletal (MSK) MRI imaging
• Monday-Friday schedule with 5x8-hour shifts
• No call, no overnights, and no holidays required
• Day shift options include 6:30 AM-3:00 PM or 8:30 AM-5:00 PM
• Evening shift available from 2:00 PM-10:30 PM
• Assigned to either a day or evening schedule without rotation between the two
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• ARRT certified in Magnetic Resonance (MR) required
• BLS certification required (AHA or American Red Cross)
• Graduate of an ARRT approved or recognized Health Science program
• Minimum of 2 years of MRI experience, or 1 year of experience plus 3 total travel assignments
• Epic EMR experience required
• Active license required if applicable
• Strong organizational, multifunctional, and independent work skills
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety and quality

• On-site position with no teleworking option
• Facility may cancel up to 3 shifts per 13-week assignment due to low census
• Travelers may remain on assignment for up to one calendar year from the initial start date, after which a 30-60 day break is required before returning to a new assignment
