American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with 2+ years of experience for a hospital Operating Room Complex position requiring neuro case scrubbing capability.

• Surgical/OR patient population
• Days shift, 4x10 schedule
• Weekend hours as needed
• Call requirements as needed
• Rotating holiday coverage

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Surgical Technologist
• BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• Must be able to scrub neuro cases
• Previous healthcare experience required
• Ability to work in a rapid-paced environment and navigate multiple computer systems
• Strong problem-solving, interpersonal, analytical, and organizational skills
• Ability to work well independently and within a team environment

Additional Information

• Coordinate all supplies and instrumentation needed for surgical procedures according to established policies and procedures
• Responsible for disposition and/or decontamination of instruments and supplies
• Assist RN with patient care planning, interventions, and outcomes
• Work under the supervision of the physician/RN and report to the Director/Manager
• Black scrub color required
• Flu vaccination required for all travelers from November 1 through April 1, with exemptions requiring client approval
• Up to 5 days of RTO allowed but must be made up during the assignment
