American Traveler is hiring an EP Technologist for a 13-week Electrophysiology Lab assignment requiring 2+ years of Cath Lab and EP experience with RCIS or RCES certification.

Details

• Acute care Electrophysiology Lab with 3 EP suites within a combined Cath Lab and EP unit
• Averages 22 total cases per day between Cath Lab and EP, starting with as few as 15 and adding on up to 15 more
• Performs ablations, AFib, and AFlutter procedures in an advanced EP lab setting
• Uses St Jude and Webster EP equipment
• Charts in EPIC, with experience preferred
• Days shift, 6:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 10-hour shifts, no call required
• May be asked to volunteer for weekend or emergency cases on a voluntary basis, with no mandatory call
• Unit is closed on holidays
• Techs primarily circulate and assist, with core staff handling the majority of documentation
• Not required to scrub in, and expected to support a one-team, cross-suite approach

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in both Cath Lab and EP settings
• RCIS, RCES, or RT certification required
• BLS certification required
• COVID vaccine required
• Experience with sedation and Phase 1 recovery required
• ICU or PACU experience preferred
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• License required if applicable

• Unit has an extreme case backlog due to COVID and is seeking candidates open to extra hours to help catch up
• Team emphasizes a patient-first, teamwork mentality and does not turn away cases
• Charge or lead nurse oversight provided, with a lead tech present when staffing allows
• Scrubs provided
• One week of RTO permitted during the assignment
• First-time travelers will be considered
