American Traveler is hiring a Cath Lab / EP Technologist for a Cardiac Cath Lab, requiring an Associate's degree from a JRCERT accredited Radiology Program and ARRT Radiography (R) certification.

Details

• Cardiac Cath Lab setting performing cardiovascular, endovascular, and neurovascular imaging and interventional procedures
• 4x10 hour shifts, 1st shift
• Call requirement of 1-2 weekday nights per week, plus 2 Fridays and 2 weekends (Sat/Sun) per 8-week schedule period

Requirements

• Associate's degree from a JRCERT accredited Radiology Program required
• BLS and ACLS certification required
• ARRT Radiography (R) certification required
• Kentucky Board of Medical Imaging and Radiation Therapy (KBMIRT) Radiography License required if applicable
• No prior experience required

Additional Information

• Assist physicians during diagnostic and interventional procedures including thrombectomy, stenting, angioplasty, IVUS, OCT, FFR, and structural heart interventions
• Assist with permanent pacemaker/ICD implantation
• Perform arterial/venous sheath removals and closure device management
• Manage hemodynamic monitoring and IABP/Impella support
• Respond to procedural complications such as air emboli, stroke, anaphylaxis, and cardiac tamponade
• Practice radiation safety using ALARA principles and perform quality control checks
• Demonstrate aseptic technique and maintain professional composure in high-stress situations
• Participate in ongoing competency validation and annual education requirements
