American Traveler is hiring a Vascular/General Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years experience and RVT certification for a pediatric Level I trauma center.

Details

• Freestanding 299-bed pediatric medical center with Level I Pediatric Trauma Center, Level I Surgery Center, Level IV Neonatal Unit, and Solid Organ Transplant program
• Performs both vascular and general ultrasound studies
• Exams include abdomen, appendix, intussusception, pelvic, small parts, upper and lower extremity Dopplers, renal Dopplers, pylorus, cranial, and other specialty pediatric exams
• 13-week assignment with three 12-hour shifts, Friday through Sunday, 7:00 PM to 7:30 AM
• On-call requirements apply

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years experience as a sonographer
• RVT certification required
• Current BLS certification required (AHA)
• License required if applicable
• Current license and primary source verification required within 30 days prior to assignment start for all licensed professionals

Additional Information

• Work in a high-acuity pediatric imaging department supporting trauma, surgical, neonatal, and transplant services
• Local candidates accepted, though a radius rule may apply and could affect pay rate
