Description

American Traveler is hiring a Cardiac Sonographer (Echo Tech) with 2+ years of specialty experience and RDCS/RVT certification for a day shift contract role.

Details

10-hour day shifts, schedule varies between 8:00 AM and 6:30 PM
Must work 2 of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Day after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, or New Year's Eve)

Requirements

Minimum of 2 years of experience within the echocardiography specialty
Current BLS certification required
RDCS certification from ARDMS, or RCS/RCCS/ACS certification from CCI required
Additional vascular credential required: RVT (ARDMS), RVS (CCI), or RS (ARRT)
License required if applicable

Additional Information

Perform echocardiographic and vascular sonography studies as part of daily responsibilities
RTO requests must be submitted upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested afterward
Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility to be considered; local candidates will not be accepted
Returning perm staff must have a 2-year break before returning as a non-local traveler
