Description

American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a hospital operating room position requiring at least 18 months of recent CVOR experience with strong cardiac, vascular, and endovascular case exposure.

Details

• Work in a hospital operating room within the CVOR unit
• Cardiac and vascular surgical patient population, including endovascular procedures
• Day shift schedule at 8 hours per shift
• 13-week contract assignment

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months full-time experience in a CVOR setting of similar acuity within the last 3 years
• Strong experience with cardiac and vascular procedures, including endovascular cases
• Proficiency across a range of cardiac and vascular procedure complexity levels
• License required if applicable
• Full SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Assist the surgical team in preparing and maintaining a sterile field for cardiac and vascular procedures
• Support cannulation procedures and endovascular cases as part of the surgical team
• Candidates must reside at least 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former employees of this health system must be separated for at least 1 year before returning, or 18 months if returning to the same facility
• Time off requests are limited to a maximum of 5 days when not near a holiday, or 3 days when falling on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday time-off request is permitted per assignment
