American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 2+ years of CT experience and ARRT CT certification for a night shift role at a Level I/II trauma teaching hospital.

Details

• Work in a CT unit within a teaching hospital setting
• Adult and geriatric patient population
• 8 CT rooms with a 1:2 patient ratio
• Perform special procedures including aspirations, biopsies, brain perfusion, coronary CTA, vascular CTA, drainage, and trauma imaging
• Imaging coverage includes head and neck, spine and musculoskeletal, chest, and abdomen/pelvis studies
• Uses GE and Siemens CT equipment along with PACS
• Epic charting system experience required
• Night shift schedule, 3x12 hours from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• ARRT CT certification required
• Michigan state license required in-hand at time of consideration (not compact); license required if applicable
• Experience with GE, Siemens, and PACS equipment required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Skilled in isolation precautions/PPE, contrast media preparation and administration, radiation safety, and starting peripheral IVs
• Proficient in image display and post-processing, including multiplanar reconstruction (MRP) and region of interest (ROI) measurement
• Experience in Level I or Level II trauma center settings preferred
• Emergency department experience preferred
• Two professional references required, must be from a manager or supervisor
