American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with Level 1 trauma experience for a 12-hour night shift position in an acute care setting.

Details

• Acute care Level 1 trauma facility with a 640-bed capacity
• CT department with 5 GE CT scanners
• 12-hour night shifts, Friday, Saturday, and Sunday
• Fast-paced, high acuity, high volume patient environment
• No floating to other departments required
• Every 3rd weekend required
• No call or standby requirements
• No holiday requirements
• Uses Epic EMR and PACS system

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience as a CT Technologist required
• Current ARRT and BLS certification required
• IEMA certification required
• Level 1 trauma experience required
• Previous travel experience preferred
• Experience with GE CT scanners preferred
• Must be able to start IVs
• Active IL license required, or confirmation that the application process has been initiated
• Must be able to produce a negative drug screen for all panels
• License required if applicable

Additional Information

• Perform basic CT scanning duties in a high-acuity, high-volume department
• Department-specific orientation is typically 1 week, as needed
• Solid color scrubs are acceptable, with some prints allowed
• Local candidates with a permanent address within 50 miles of the facility are eligible for a local rate
• No radius rule restricting eligibility for the position
• COVID vaccination is not required for this facility
