American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 2+ years of mammography experience and ARRT/NV state licensure for a 13-week travel assignment.

Details

• Work in the Imaging department of a busy Level II trauma center hospital
• 5x8-hour shifts, Monday through Friday, rotating start times of 7:30-3, 7:30-4, and 8-4:30
• No on-call requirements
• Schedule may include weekends, holidays, and some on-call shifts based on department needs
• Potential to float within clinical competency level based on organizational needs
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• ARRT certification and NV state license required prior to start date (license required if applicable)
• Current BLS certification required
• Minimum of 2 years of Mammography Technologist experience required
• At least one prior 13-week travel assignment required
• Must be able to provide care for adult and geriatric patient populations
• Proficient in operating mammography unit and hospital/department computer systems

Additional Information

• Produce diagnostic mammograms and assist radiologists and referring physicians with mammographic procedures
• Work under the supervision of the Breast Center Manager
• Facility is a Level II trauma center with 800 inpatient beds and 80 ER beds serving a 500-mile radius
• Required to work 2-3 major holidays and pick up one additional shift during the schedule period
• Facility may cancel full or partial shifts with 48 hours notice for low census without penalty
• Candidates must live more than 60 miles from the facility to be eligible
• First-time travelers may be considered if they meet minimum experience requirements
• Returning travelers must have a 13-week break after completing a prior contract before starting a new one
