American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist with ARRT registration and CT certification for a night shift hospital radiology assignment.

Details

• Hospital-based Radiology department setting
• Night shift schedule, Monday-Thursday, 1830-0500
• 4x10 hour shifts, 40 hours per week
• Uses Epic for charting

Requirements

• ARRT registration required
• CT certification required
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association required, not expiring prior to start
• Minimum 1 year of experience in the specialty required
• Active license required (license required if applicable)
• Personal radiation monitoring badge (dosimeter) required for this assignment
• Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant computer applications
• Strong communication and organizational skills required
• DOB and last 4 digits of SSN required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform diagnostic X-ray procedures including patient positioning, immobilization, and contrast administration per Radiologist protocol
• Operate and maintain X-ray imaging and related equipment appropriately
• Coordinate examinations to ensure timely, high-quality, and continuous patient care
• Evaluate image quality and submit required images to Radiologists for interpretation
• Follow Radiation Safety Measures (ALARA) to ensure patient and staff safety
• Practice sterile technique and adhere to infection prevention policies
• Supervise and evaluate student radiographers in the clinical setting
• Communicate effectively with patients, coworkers, Radiologists, and leadership
• Returning employees must be separated from any Intermountain facility for at least one year before being eligible for a travel assignment
