American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist for an ambulatory surgery center, with cataract experience highly preferred.

Details

• Work in a fast-paced ambulatory surgery center
• Day shift schedule with variable hours, 5x8-hour shifts (6:30 AM - 2:59 PM)
• 1:1 patient ratio
• Supports multiple surgical specialties including orthopedic, podiatry, ophthalmology, gynecology, and neurosurgery procedures

Requirements

• Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in surgical technology, with specialty experience preferred
• BLS certification required
• CST certification preferred
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency in aseptic technique and sharps safety required
• Cataract extraction/implant experience highly preferred
• Experience with procedures such as ACL reconstruction, arthroscopy, carpal tunnel release, fracture reductions, bunionectomy, metatarsal surgery, D&C, and laminectomy/discectomy preferred
• Valid references and copies of certifications required for consideration

• Fast-paced ambulatory care environment supporting a variety of surgical specialties
• RTO must be submitted at time of consideration and cannot be added afterward
