American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with ARDMS certification and 2+ years of acute care hospital experience for a general ultrasound position.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting performing general ultrasound procedures
• Evening shift, 5x8 hours from 3:30 PM to 12:00 AM
• Some overnight shifts required as needed
• Weekend rotation required
• On-call required based on census

Requirements

• BLS certification (AHA)
• ARDMS Registered Medical Sonographer certification
• Minimum 2 years experience as an Ultrasound Technologist in an acute care hospital setting
• License required if applicable
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform a full range of ultrasound procedures and produce quality diagnostic images
• Process films and prepare records of services performed
• Make adjustments to equipment and report any malfunctioning equipment
• Transport patients to and from the department
• Work efficiently to maintain scheduled and unscheduled patient exams
• Accepts local candidates at local rate within a 50-mile radius
• Returning travelers must have a 1-year separation before returning to this facility
• Maximum RTO of 7 days per contract, with only 1 holiday request approved per contract
