American Traveler is hiring a CT/X-Ray Technologist for a night shift assignment performing both CT and radiographic/fluoroscopic imaging.

• Hospital-based diagnostic imaging setting
• Performs both CT scans and X-ray/fluoroscopic imaging
• Night shift schedule working Tuesday, Wednesday, and Thursday nights, varied 8-hour shifts
• 13-week assignment
• Uses portable equipment, C-arm, hospital computer system, and PACS

Requirements

• State license required upon acceptance
• License required if applicable
• Proficiency operating radiographic, fluoroscopic, and CT equipment
• Experience with C-arm and portable imaging equipment
• Ability to adjust technical factors based on patient and body part while minimizing radiation exposure
• Knowledge of radiation safety practices
• Experience using hospital computer and PACS systems

Additional Information

• Responsible for performing radiographs as requested by physicians and following radiation safety protocols
• Assumes temporary patient care responsibility during X-ray procedures
• Transports patients as needed
• Performs clerical tasks in addition to imaging duties
• Provides services that meet the psycho-social needs of the patient population served
