American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with a minimum of 1 year of experience in CT scanning across pediatric, adult, and geriatric patient populations, and first-time travelers are welcome to apply.

Details

• Work in a hospital setting supporting Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU areas
• Level I Trauma facility
• Patient population includes Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric cases; Neonatal and Infant experience preferred
• Performs CT studies of the abdomen and pelvis, chest, head and neck, spine, and musculoskeletal system, with and without contrast
• Special procedures may include biopsies, aspirations, brain perfusion, CT arthrography, myelography, transplant studies, vascular CTA, and cardiac calcium scoring
• Uses GE and/or Siemens CT equipment and PACS system
• EPIC EMR experience required
• 3x12 hour day shifts from 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Friday through Sunday
• May float to any facility campus as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of CT Technologist experience required
• Current BLS and ARRT CT certification required
• License required if applicable
• Experience with Pediatric, Adolescent, Adult, and Geriatric patients required; Neonatal and Infant experience preferred
• Experience in Outpatient, Inpatient, ED, and ICU settings required; NICU and PICU experience preferred
• Proficiency with PACS and contrast media preparation/administration required
• Experience with IV starts and biopsies preferred
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Must pass a Pass/Fail EKG competency exam during compliance with up to two attempts allowed

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across a wide range of anatomical regions and specialized procedures including trauma, oncology, and vascular studies
• Level I Trauma center experience preferred
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
