American Traveler seeks a Certified Surgical Technologist with CVOR experience for a hospital CVOR/Hybrid Cath Lab position in Colorado, requiring an active CO Surgical Tech license (DORA).

Details

• Work in a hospital CVOR unit and Hybrid Cath Lab setting
• CVOR patient population requiring cardiovascular surgical cases
• Schedule is four 10-hour shifts per week with a rotating call schedule
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of surgical technologist experience required
• Specific CVOR CST experience required
• Graduate of an accredited scrub technologist program
• CST certification from NBSTSA, AST, or NCCT required
• Colorado Surgical Tech License (CST) issued through DORA required — license required if applicable
• BLS certification through the American Heart Association required
• Flu vaccine required (no exemptions)
• Candidate's permanent address must be at least 75 miles from the facility

• Assist in cardiovascular surgical cases within the CVOR and Hybrid Cath Lab
• Colorado is one of a few states that requires CSTs to hold an active state license through DORA — candidates should obtain this prior to submission if not already licensed
• The CAPS (Colorado Adult Protective Services) background check is required and may take up to two weeks to obtain — candidates should apply as soon as possible
