American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with 1+ year of recent CT experience and required trauma experience for a 13-week assignment.

Details

• Adult acute care setting, inpatient and/or outpatient
• Day shift, 5x8 hours, Monday-Friday 5:00 AM-1:30 PM, with call requirement
• Hurricane sign-up required but not guaranteed
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS system
• EPIC EMR experience required
• Performs Abdomen/Pelvis, Chest, Head/Neck, Spine/Musculoskeletal, and CTA imaging
• Coronary CTA, Multiplanar Reconstruction, Aspirations, Biopsies, and Drainage procedures preferred
• Involves Brain Perfusion imaging and contrast media preparation/administration
• Requires starting peripheral IVs and use of isolation precautions/PPE

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of recent CT experience required
• Trauma experience required
• ARRT-CT certification required
• BLS certification via AHA or ARC required
• Florida or compact license required in hand for consideration, if applicable
• Experience with Siemens CT equipment required
• EPIC charting system experience required
• Experience with adult patient population required
• Must complete Florida AHCA Level 2 background screening, including fingerprint-based state and federal criminal history checks and abuse registry review

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging across abdomen/pelvis, chest, head/neck, and spine/musculoskeletal regions for adult patients
• Prepare and administer contrast media and start peripheral IVs as needed
• Follow isolation precautions and PPE protocols

• Local candidates accepted within a 60-mile radius at a lower rate
• Must report to the facility within 72 hours of signing
• Former Broward Health employees must be separated for 1 year before returning as a traveler
