American Traveler is seeking an Echo Technologist specializing in Pediatric Echocardiography with 2+ years of experience and documented congenital heart experience for a 13-week contract at a Level 1 Trauma pediatric hospital in Little Rock, AR.

Details

• Heart Station unit within a 359-bed, Level 1 Trauma, Level 4 NICU teaching hospital that is the only pediatric medical center in Arkansas
• Pediatric echocardiography patient population with congenital heart cases
• 8-hour day shifts from 8:00 AM to 4:00 PM, 40 hours per week
• Call is required approximately every 11th weekend, resulting in approximately one weekend of call per assignment
• Weekday call may also be required approximately every 11th weekday, resulting in approximately six total weekday call shifts per assignment
• A portion of call may take place at an offsite location (UAMS)
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of Echo Technologist experience required
• Pediatric echocardiography experience required
• Documented congenital heart experience required
• Current BLS certification required
• License required if applicable
• At least 1 professional reference within the last year
• Flu vaccination required prior to start — no exemptions or declinations accepted
• Must pass a fit test; facial hair is not permitted unless for religious beliefs
• Must test negative for nicotine
