American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for a 13-week night shift contract at a Level I Trauma acute care hospital in Colorado, requiring a minimum of 2 years of experience and ARRT (CT) certification.

Details

• Acute care hospital setting within a Radiology - CT department
• Level I Trauma center
• Department has 5 CT scanners
• Performs a broad range of CT imaging studies and scans
• Averages approximately 25 scans per day
• IV placement is required
• Uses Epic EMR and Fuji Synapse PACS
• GE and Siemens CT equipment on site
• 12-hour night shifts, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, Sunday through Tuesday
• Weekend and holiday coverage required
• May be required to float to outpatient areas, and in cases of extreme need, within the broader float zone (OCH, LUH, SAH, SAN)
• In-house radiologist and radiology supervisor on site

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Active BLS (AHA) certification required; pending certifications not accepted
• Active ARRT (CT) certification required; pending certifications not accepted
• Active state or compact (NLC) license required if applicable; pending licenses not accepted
• GE and Siemens scanner experience preferred
• Epic EMR experience preferred
• Must reside at least 60 miles from the facility to qualify for the travel pay rate; a driver's license is used to verify permanent address
• 2 professional references required: one supervisor from within the last 12 months and one peer or supervisor from within the last 3 years, both including dates of employment and eligibility for rehire
• Copy of driver's license required for consideration

Additional Information

• Department-specific orientation provided, including an orientation week during which clinicians must be present in-state even if initial modules are completed remotely
• Travelers are expected to float within their assigned zone and are responsible for securing housing that allows them to meet this requirement
• Black scrubs required; scrubs are not provided by the facility
• A radiation badge (Rad Badge) will be provided by the agency
• Candidates who have been directly employed (full-time, part-time, or PRN) by any CommonSpirit, CHI, or Dignity-affiliated facility within the past year are not eligible; candidates placed PRN through outside firms will be considered
• Hiring process includes a profile review followed by an interview with the unit manager
