American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist for night shifts at an acute care Level II trauma teaching hospital, requiring ARRT CT and R certifications and a minimum of 2 years of experience.

Details

• Work setting is an acute care, Level II trauma teaching hospital with 370 staffed beds
• CT scan department serving Emergency Department and Level II Trauma Center patients
• Procedures include abdomen/pelvis with and without contrast, enterography, intravenous pyelogram, colorectal studies, brain perfusion, head and neck imaging, carotid, sinuses, soft tissue neck, trauma head, spine and musculoskeletal studies (cervical, lumbar, thoracic), chest with and without contrast, and vascular chest studies (pulmonary embolism, CTA, aorta)
• Uses Siemens CT equipment and PACS
• Charts in Epic; Epic experience required
• Night shifts, 3x12 hours, 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of CT Technologist experience; 5+ years preferred
• ARRT CT, ARRT R, and BLS certifications required
• Community hospital experience required
• Level II trauma center experience required
• Level I trauma and teaching hospital experience preferred
• Proficiency with Siemens CT equipment and PACS
• Skills required include multiplanar reconstruction (MPR), region of interest (ROI) measurement, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs, radiation safety, and isolation precautions/PPE
• Epic EMR experience required
• License required if applicable

• Onboarding modules are approximately 4 hours and are completed prior to the start of the assignment
