Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a travel assignment in a hospital CT Scan unit, requiring a minimum of 6 months of current CT Tech experience and ARRT (R)(CT) certification.

Details

• Located in the CT Scan department of a main hospital building in Thornton, CO
• Equipment includes two in-house scanners (128-slice and 16-slice) and one mobile unit (64-slice)
• Typical procedures include CTA, ABD/PELV, and CAP studies
• EMR system is Meditech; Centricity PACS is also used
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM, Thursday through Saturday
• Typical night staffing consists of 1 dedicated CT tech and 1 cross-trained tech shared between X-ray and CT

Requirements

• Minimum 6 months of current CT Technologist experience
• ARRT (R)(CT) certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA or ARC accepted; must not expire within the first 30 days of the assignment start)
• License required if applicable
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• One professional reference required
• No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility — local candidates are not eligible

Additional Information

• Night shift experience in a Trauma I or Trauma II level facility is preferred
• Experience with GE equipment, Meditech, and Centricity PACS is preferred
• Ideal candidates are highly motivated self-starters with strong critical thinking skills and a team-oriented attitude
• This is a 13-week travel assignment
