American Traveler is hiring an Echo Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and active RDCS certification for a Heart Station position requiring travel experience and Epic proficiency.

Details

• Works across two hospital locations (Cambridge and Everett)
• Inpatient and outpatient Heart Station setting
• 8-hour day shifts from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM, 5 days per week
• Rotating weekend and holiday on-call schedule, on call from 7:30 AM to 4:00 PM
• Block scheduling is not allowed
• Epic EMR experience required

Requirements

• Active RDCS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in sonography
• Prior travel experience required; first-time travelers will not be considered
• AHA BLS certification required
• Epic EMR experience required
• Experience with administering contrast agents preferred
• License required if applicable
• 2 recent manager or supervisor references in matching specialty required for consideration
• Driver's license with address matching demographics required for consideration

Additional Information

• Competencies include transthoracic echocardiogram (TTE), transesophageal echocardiogram (TEE), TEE probe cleaning, Lumason, and stress echocardiograms
• Minimal orientation time — candidates must have substantial years of experience
• Orientation is conducted bi-weekly
• RTO must be submitted upfront; no more than 5 days will be approved
• Must be available for every other major holiday
• Candidates living within 50 miles of the facility are eligible but will be placed at a local pay rate
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
