American Traveler is hiring a Radiology Technologist (X-Ray) with 2+ years of experience for a Level I Trauma Center in Columbus, OH, requiring ARRT certification and an Ohio Radiologic License.

Details

• Level I Trauma Center in Columbus, OH serving adult acute care, ED, ICU, OR, trauma bay, and inpatient settings
• Covers ED, OR, trauma bay, inpatient floors, and general X-ray needs
• Performs a wide range of procedures including portable/bedside imaging, C-arm, fluoroscopy studies, and full-body radiographic exams across spine, chest, extremities, and head
• Uses Toshiba and GE scanners, with Philips equipment also available
• Radiology Information System is Radiant; PACS system is Fuji
• 4x10 hour day shifts, 9:30 AM – 8:00 PM
• Every other weekend required
• Holidays assigned on a rotating basis
• Travelers are first to float per facility policy

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of experience as a Radiology Technologist
• Graduate of an accredited radiography program
• ARRT (Registered Radiologic Technologist) certification required
• Ohio Radiologic License (ODH) required — license required if applicable
• Current BLS certification required
• Large hospital experience required
• Level I or II trauma experience required
• Strong OR/surgical imaging experience required
• Experience with C-arm and portable procedures required
• Candidates must reside more than 100 miles from the facility to be eligible
• SSN and DOB required for consideration
• Prior travel experience preferred; exceptions may be made for the right candidate

Additional Information

• Works alongside a team of technologists in a high-volume Level I Trauma Center environment
• Responsible for imaging across ED, OR, trauma bay, inpatient units, and general X-ray
• Proficiency with abdominal, chest, spine, pelvis, extremity, head, and fluoroscopy imaging expected
• Experience with infection prevention, isolation precautions/PPE, radiation safety, and contrast media preparation is valued
• Former OhioHealth employees must have a 366-day separation before returning as a traveler; PRN employees may not accept travel assignments while actively employed PRN
• Maximum of 10 days of RTO per contract; no RTO permitted during the initial weeks of the assignment
• Teaching hospital experience preferred
• EKG/Dysrhythmia and lab work will be required prior to starting the assignment
• Attendance policy is strictly enforced — more than one call-off may result in termination
