American Traveler is hiring an MRI Technologist with a minimum of 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care setting for a 13-week rotating day/evening assignment in Needham, MA.

Details

• Work in the MRI unit of a 75-bed acute care hospital
• Average daily caseload of 30–35 cases across 2 units
• 8-hour rotating day/evening shifts totaling 40 hours per week
• Schedule rotates: Mondays 7:00 AM–3:30 PM, Tuesday–Thursday 3:30 PM–12:00 AM
• No float requirement for this position
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of independent MRI experience in an acute care facility
• ARRT certification required
• Current BLS certification (AHA) required
• MA license required if applicable

Additional Information

• Orientation is typically 3–4 days
• Any color scrubs are acceptable
• COVID vaccine and booster, as well as flu vaccine, are required (medical exemptions are allowed)
• Flu vaccine documentation required during flu season
• Candidates must have been separated from any Beth Israel Lahey Health facility for at least 6 months and be in good standing to be considered (applies to all previous employee types: travel, permanent, and per diem)
• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible; local candidates may be considered on a case-by-case basis for this specialty
• Previous travel experience is not required for this position
