American Traveler is hiring a Mammography Technologist with 4+ years of experience and ARRT (M) certification to work across multiple outpatient and hospital-based imaging sites within a large academic Level I Trauma Center health system in the New Haven, CT area.

Details

• Work across 4 imaging sites, including a main campus cancer hospital and three satellite medical centers located within 15 minutes of the main facility
• Sites include locations in New Haven, North Haven, and Guilford, CT; some sites have evening hours until 8:30 PM
• Monday through Friday shifts from 8:30 AM–5:00 PM, with as-needed shifts from 12:00–8:30 PM, and every other Saturday from 7:30 AM–4:00 PM
• When scheduled on a Saturday, a weekday off will be provided; schedule is posted one week in advance
• Charting via Epic
• Cross-training as a Breast Sonographer is preferred

Requirements

• Minimum of 4 years of Mammography Technologist experience required
• ARRT (R) and ARRT (M) certifications required
• Current BLS required
• Experience with Hologic mammography equipment required
• Trauma center experience at a large facility required
• State license required if applicable; pending licenses accepted but must be active prior to start date
• 1 reference required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will not be considered for this position
• Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel rates
• Former permanent staff must have been separated for at least 2 years before being considered as a traveler
• RTO exceeding 7 days requires facility approval
• Teal scrub tops and bottoms are required
• Flu vaccination is required; declinations are not accepted
• COVID vaccination and booster are required, with religious or medical exemptions considered
• Travelers are expected to participate in natural disaster or emergency response activities as required by the facility
• Parking is available at an additional cost of approximately $125/month
