American Traveler is seeking a CVOR Tech for a 13-week travel assignment in Atlanta, GA, requiring a minimum of 18 months of full-time CVOR experience with strong cardiac and endovascular skills.

Details

• AM shift, 12-hour shifts
• CVOR unit within a large academic health system in Atlanta, GA
• Cardiovascular patient population including cardiac and vascular surgical cases with high acuity
• Strong endovascular experience required given the nature of cases performed in this unit

Requirements

• Minimum of 18 months of full-time CVOR experience within the last 3 years at a similar acuity level
• Must demonstrate strong proficiency in cardiac and vascular procedures (self-rated 3s and 4s on skills checklist)
• Strong endovascular (wires) experience required
• License required if applicable
• BLS certification required

Additional Information

• Candidates must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to be eligible for this position
• Former permanent staff of this health system must have been separated for at least 1 year before returning; if returning to this specific facility, a minimum of 18 months separation is required
• RTO is allowed up to 5 days if it does not fall on or near a holiday; RTO is limited to 3 days if it falls on or near a holiday
• Only one holiday RTO request is permitted, and RTO during the holiday period must be spread out and will not be approved if consecutive days are requested around holidays
• Candidates will be asked to complete a Peri-Op Services Questionnaire covering cannulation experience, aortic cases, endovascular wire experience, and cardiac case familiarity (adult vs. congenital)
