American Traveler is hiring an Ultrasound Technologist with 2+ years of acute care experience for a 13-week contract at a teaching hospital.

Details

• Teaching hospital setting with 351 licensed beds, no trauma designation, and Chest Pain and Stroke Center recognition
• Performs approximately 50 exams per day across ED, IP, and OP patient types
• 10-hour day shifts, Monday through Thursday, 10:30 AM to 9:00 PM
• 40 standard hours per week
• Weekend rotation and on-call requirements dependent on the specific requisition
• No floating required
• Uses EPIC EMR and Siemens Accuson ultrasound equipment
• Transport support available during the day

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an acute care setting as an Ultrasound Technologist
• BLS certification required
• ARDMS or ARRT-US certification required
• AB and RVT certifications required
• License required if applicable
• EPIC EMR experience preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and full date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Travelers are expected to work 75% of holidays that fall within the assignment
• RTO requests are subject to manager approval
• 2 days of departmental orientation provided
