Description

American Traveler is seeking a CT Technologist for a night shift travel contract at an acute care hospital in Maysville, KY, requiring 2+ years of experience and the ability to perform both CT and X-ray independently.

Details

• Work in the Radiology department of a 100-bed, Joint Commission accredited acute care hospital
• Serves all patient populations including pediatric, adult, and geriatric
• Uses a GE CT scanner; EMR is Meditech
• Night shift: 7:00 PM – 7:00 AM
• 36 hours per week
• 8-week contract
• No call required, though call shifts are available for those interested
• Will float to perform X-ray as needed

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of CT Technologist experience
• Must be proficient in both CT and X-ray
• ARRT registration in Radiology required; CT registration strongly recommended
• Kentucky Radiation Operator's License required (license required if applicable)
• AHA BLS certification required
• Associate degree or higher in Radiologic Technology or related field
• Must be able to work independently
• SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• Perform CT imaging and X-ray procedures independently across all patient populations
• Orientation is held on the 1st and 3rd Monday of the month
• Pewter gray scrubs are required
• Candidates must not have worked as permanent staff at any LifePoint facility within the last 12 months
• Candidates cannot be employed full-time elsewhere during the contract
• Candidates residing within 60 miles of the facility are not eligible for this position
