American Traveler is hiring a CT Technologist with dual responsibilities in CT and Diagnostic Radiology at a Level IV Trauma hospital in Cudahy, WI, requiring at least 1 year of hospital-based CT experience.

Details

• 100-bed Level IV Trauma hospital located in Cudahy, WI, approximately 20 minutes from Milwaukee
• CT unit with dual responsibilities in CT and Diagnostic Radiology
• Department equipped with 2 CT scanners and McKesson PACS
• General CT patient population; no neurosurgery or cardiac cases
• 1:1 patient ratio
• EMR: Epic
• 12-hour day shifts, 36 hours per week
• Weekend Program: Friday 8:00 AM–8:30 PM, Saturday–Sunday 7:00 AM–7:30 PM
• Holiday rotation required
• On-call is not required; urgent situations only
• No floating required

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of CT experience in a hospital setting, with most recent experience within the last year
• ARRT (CT and/or X-Ray) certification required
• BLS required
• Valid WI license required if applicable
• Experience with general CT procedures from a hospital setting required
• Epic EMR experience
• 1 professional reference from a Supervisor, Manager, Director, or Charge RN dated within the last year required for consideration
• Candidate DOB and last 4 of SSN required for consideration
• Candidate's middle name or initial required for consideration

Additional Information

• Dual-role position covering both CT scanning and Diagnostic Radiology responsibilities
• Department support includes imaging assistants, transport, patient assist, receptionist, RT, hospitalist, and telemetry monitoring/tech
• Toshiba Canon Aquilion experience preferred; GE and Siemens CT experience also helpful
• Orientation consists of new employee orientation plus 2 unit-specific shifts
• First-time travelers are accepted for this position
• Former employees of Advocate Health or any of its subsidiaries must be separated for at least 12 months before being eligible
