American Traveler is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist / Sonographer with 2+ years of experience and ARRT/ARDMS certification to perform general ultrasound and vascular studies on a night shift assignment.

Details

• General ultrasound and vascular sonography with limited OB exams
• Night shift, Monday-Friday, 8-hour shifts from 10:30 PM to 7:00 AM
• On-call and holiday rotation required as needed
• No floating required
• Epic EMR experience required
• 13-week assignment

Requirements

• ARRT and ARDMS certification required (ARDMS AB required, ARDMS OB/GYN and RVT preferred)
• BLS certification required
• Minimum 2 years of experience in ultrasound/sonography specialty required
• Epic charting system experience required
• Teaching hospital and community hospital experience preferred
• License required if applicable
• Valid state license or certification required at time of consideration
• Skills in general ultrasound including abdominal aorta, biliary tract, gallbladder, liver, pancreas, and spleen
• Skills in vascular studies including carotid, arterial/venous duplex, dialysis grafts, and stents
• Experience with OB/GYN, renal/pelvis, and small parts imaging preferred
• Experience with PACS and Philips ultrasound equipment
• Knowledge of isolation precautions and PPE protocols

Additional Information

• Perform general ultrasound studies including abdominal, biliary, hepatic, pancreatic, and splenic imaging
• Conduct vascular studies including carotid duplex, arterial/venous mapping, and dialysis graft evaluations
• Work with adult, pediatric, and obstetric patient populations across Emergency Department, ICU, and outpatient settings
• First-time travelers will be considered for this position
• Local candidates within 50 miles accepted at a different rate
