American Traveler is hiring a Special Procedures Technologist with IR or EVOR experience and Cerner proficiency to perform interventional radiology procedures and assist physicians.

Details

• Interventional Radiology department performing IR procedures and assisting physicians
• 8-hour day shifts, 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, 5 shifts per week
• On-call shifts required
• Uses Cerner EMR system

Requirements

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology
• Minimum 2 years of recent experience within the specialty required
• IR or EVOR experience required
• AHA BLS certification required
• Cerner EMR experience required
• License required if applicable
• Preferred training or experience in general vascular coronary angiography and special procedures
• Preferred prior experience in catheterization

Additional Information

• Perform interventional radiology procedures and assist physicians
• Must work 2 of the 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day, New Year's Day) and 1 minor holiday (Friday after Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve, New Year's Eve)
• Does not accept local candidates within 50 miles of the facility
• Returning perm staff applying as travelers must have a 2-year break in service
• RTO must be requested upfront prior to offer and cannot be requested after
