American Traveler is hiring an EKG Technologist with 2+ years of experience to perform routine and specialized non-invasive cardiac procedures at an acute care facility in California.

Details

• Hospital-based EKG department
• Variable day shifts: 7:00 AM–3:30 PM or 11:00 AM–7:30 PM
• 5x8-hour shifts per week
• 13-week contract

Requirements

• Minimum 2 years of EKG Technologist experience
• Current BLS certification required
• EKG certification required
• CA license required if applicable
• Must reside more than 50 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates
• 2 supervisor references obtained within the past year required for consideration

Additional Information

• Performs routine and specialized non-invasive cardiac procedures as ordered by a physician for diagnosis, treatment, monitoring, and prevention of injury or disease
• Works independently, exercising sound clinical judgment to execute safe and precise procedures and deliver accurate results to physicians in a timely manner
• Responsible for competent patient assessment, attentive monitoring, effective communication, and gaining cooperation from patients and their support groups
• Adheres to all local, state, and federal regulations, codes, policies, and procedures to ensure patient privacy and safety
• Former employees of this facility must have been away for at least 1 year before returning as a traveler
• Only 1 holiday RTO request will be approved during the contract
