American Traveler is hiring an Interventional Radiology Technologist for Special Procedures requiring 3-5 years of experience and NJ radiographic licensure.

Details

• Radiology Special Procedures department performing complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional cases
• 3x12-hour shifts or 4x10-hour shifts on PM shift
• On-call required every 4th weekend and 1 day per week
• May float to sister hospital location as needed
• Uses floor and ceiling mounted fluoroscopic modality machines
• Utilizes power injection of iodinated contrast media devices
• Documents in Epic EMR and sends images to Sectra/PACS system

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience as an Interventional Radiologic Technologist or Cardio-Vascular Technologist
• NJ radiographic licensure required if applicable
• Current ARRT Radiography (R) certification
• BLS certification from AHA or equivalent accredited program
• High school diploma/GED and Associate degree or completion of an accredited radiographic program
• Epic charting experience

Additional Information

• Scrub assists proceduralists during complex diagnostic and interventional vascular and neuro-interventional procedures
• Identifies, retrieves, and circulates complex products during interventional procedural cases
• Applies critical thinking during neuro-interventional and complex cases to support the proceduralist
• Uses closed loop communication with the multidisciplinary team including nurses, radiologists, and vascular surgeons
• Maintains sterile technique and infection prevention measures while setting up procedural trays
• Performs post-intervention groin management
• Delivers high-quality care in a fast-paced clinical environment
• Local candidates accepted at a lower rate
