Description

American Traveler seeks a CVOR Surgical Technologist for a high-acuity cardiovascular operating room, requiring cardiac scrub experience within the past year and NBSTSA or NCCT certification.

Details

• High-acuity Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) specializing in complex open-heart and vascular procedures
• Facility runs four CVOR rooms daily, expanding to maintain all four rooms until 1700
• Day shift schedule, 4x10 hour shifts from 6:30 to 17:00
• Call required, averaging about 10 days per month including weekends
• Floating to like units within scope may be required based on facility needs, with brief orientation provided

Requirements

• Minimum of 1 year of experience required
• Cardiac scrub experience required within the past year
• NBSTSA or NCCT certification required
• Valid Allied license required if applicable
• Confident and current skills in both heart and vascular surgery required
• Experience with vascular procedures such as AAA repair, atherectomy, carotid endarterectomy, EVAR, femoral popliteal bypass graft, TEVAR, and vein stripping preferred
• Experience with cardiovascular procedures such as CABG, mitral valve replacement, TAVR, VAD, and pericardial window preferred
• Aseptic technique and sterilization/disinfection skills required
• Robotics experience, including cardiothoracic robotic surgery, preferred

• No more than 3 days of RTO will be auto-approved, and no RTO is allowed during the first week of orientation
• Candidates residing within 75 miles of the facility are not accepted for local rates
